About the role

Anexus is a fractional CFO and business advisory firm based in Fort Worth, Texas. The firm serves businesses across the United States and is focused on expanding its North Texas client base. The company partners with organizations ranging from startups to established businesses undergoing significant transitions, providing executive financial leadership supported by in-house accounting, FP&A, and paralegal resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Fractional CFO for assigned client engagements.
• Provide strategic financial leadership and business advisory services.
• Guide clients through major business transitions and financial decision-making.
• Develop budgets and financial models.
• Support forecasting and financial planning initiatives.
• Deliver financial insights to support business growth.
• Manage and oversee accounting functions.
• Work with internal accounting and FP&A resources.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and operational support.
• Support mergers and acquisitions.
• Aid with equity and debt capital raises.
• Advise clients during business sales, restructurings, or other strategic events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience serving as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar executive finance leadership role, or senior finance experience within private equity, private credit, banking, or investment funds.
• Strong budgeting and Excel financial modeling experience.
• Experience managing accounting teams.
• Transaction experience (M&A, equity raises, or debt financing) preferred.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of finance experience.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred but not required.

Pay

Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Time commitment is flexible and varies by client engagement. Opportunities generally range from approximately 10–20 hours per week, with the ability to increase as additional clients are assigned.
