About The Role HomeFoods is building the #1 marketplace for homemade food — connecting local chefs with customers who want authentic, fresh, home-cooked meals. We are looking for a young, energetic, highly social, and driven founding team member to join us as our third core person. This role is perfect for someone who is extroverted, fast-moving, creative, and excited to help grow an early-stage startup from the ground up. Position Details Location In-person (Sunland, CA) Schedule Part-time to start (flexible, can grow to full-time) Compensation Equity-based (founding startup role) Start Date ASAP Team 3rd core member alongside two founders What You'll Do Chef Recruitment & Community Building Find, approach, and recruit talented home chefs to join HomeFoods Conduct chef interviews and onboarding conversations Build strong relationships with chefs and local food creators Represent HomeFoods confidently in person and online Operations & Execution Support Handle day-to-day startup tasks and help founders execute quickly Make calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings Assist with office-related errands (printing, ordering supplies, organizing materials) Help ensure tasks get done efficiently and on time Creative & Social Media Awareness Stay up to date on social media trends (TikTok, Instagram, Reels, etc.) Bring creative ideas for product presentation, chef branding, and promotions Help brainstorm and plan seasonal campaigns (Valentine's Day, Holidays, etc.) Support marketing initiatives and customer growth strategies Customer Service & Business Growth Assist with customer communication and support when needed Think proactively about new promotions, partnerships, and growth ideas Help build the HomeFoods community and brand presence in LA Who You Are We're Looking For Someone Who Is Female, ages 19–24 preferred Extremely outgoing, friendly, and confident speaking with people A fast executor — someone who gets things done quickly Fluent in English (2nd language knowledge is a must) Social media active and culturally aware Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools/apps Organized, reliable, and proactive Interested in startups, food, community, and building something big What You'll Gain This is not a typical role.
