Founder Story & Memoir Development Volunteer

About the role

LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a volunteer writer, journalist, editor, author, communications professional, or storytelling enthusiast to assist our Founder and Executive Director with developing a personal memoir and founder story.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual interviews with the Founder
• Organize stories, notes, and recorded conversations
• Develop chapter outlines and book structure
• Aid in writing, editing, and manuscript development
• Support the transformation of personal experiences into a compelling narrative
• Help develop future speaking, fundraising, and storytelling materials
• Collaborate on publication and distribution strategies if desired

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience with storytelling, journalism, memoir writing, ghostwriting, communications, or content creation
• Ability to conduct interviews and organize information
• Interest in nonprofit leadership, social impact, entrepreneurship, or personal development
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
