About the role
LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a volunteer writer, journalist, editor, author, communications professional, or storytelling enthusiast to assist our Founder and Executive Director with developing a personal memoir and founder story.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual interviews with the Founder
- Organize stories, notes, and recorded conversations
- Develop chapter outlines and book structure
- Aid in writing, editing, and manuscript development
- Support the transformation of personal experiences into a compelling narrative
- Help develop future speaking, fundraising, and storytelling materials
- Collaborate on publication and distribution strategies if desired
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience with storytelling, journalism, memoir writing, ghostwriting, communications, or content creation
- Ability to conduct interviews and organize information
- Interest in nonprofit leadership, social impact, entrepreneurship, or personal development
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
