About the role

The Founder & CEO will transform a compelling idea into a scalable, defensible business. Key responsibilities include defining the market opportunity, selecting the operator profile, and driving the adoption of NightWatch in US senior living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Define the wedge between current staffing practices and potential savings through automation
• Choose the operator profile and the 3-state cluster (consistent regulation) for initial pilots
• Work with partner's robotics teams to develop and refine the night-patrol robot and its remote-monitoring layer
• Secure early pilots with 2-3 CCRC/senior-living operators, proving FTE substitution through the pilot sequence
• Frame the buy as an ROI decision for CFOs/COOs, positioning it as redeployment rather than redundancy
• Drive the economics, aiming to push the robots-to-operator ratio towards optimal levels
• Hire the initial team, raise capital, and establish NightWatch as the automation layer for senior living

Requirements

• Founder or senior operator with experience building hardware or robotics products from zero to one
• Deep understanding of US senior living/CCRC operators, eldercare, or enterprise facilities operations
• Enterprise commercial skills to navigate multi-site operator sales cycles
• Strong product and technical instincts to reason about robotics, sensing, and edge compute
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making irreversible decisions with incomplete data
• Credibility with conservative care operators and forward-looking venture investors

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics or hardware-as-a-service product development
• Understanding of US senior living and eldercare markets
• Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles
• Technical acumen in robotics, sensing, and edge computing
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and make informed decisions
• Track record of success in building and scaling businesses
