About the role
The role of Foster Care Clinical Care Coordinator involves providing clinical support to foster care families, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in their care. This includes conducting home visits, providing counseling services, and collaborating with other professionals to address the needs of the children and families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess the needs of foster care families and children.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support the emotional and mental health of children and families.
- Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and foster care guidelines.
- Document all interactions and assessments in accordance with agency policies.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
