Role Summary
This is not a traditional sales role and not a ticket-only support role. It is a high-ownership execution role tied directly to customer success.
What You'll Do
- Customer Communication & Support
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers
- Communicate with customers daily via Slack, email, and video calls
- Own customer issues from report → diagnosis → resolution → follow-up
- Provide hands-on support engineering for production issues and edge cases
- Clearly explain issues, timelines, and tradeoffs in strong, professional English
- Forward-Deployed & Implementation Work
- Lead customer implementations end-to-end
- Import and configure all customer data
- Translate customer requests into clear technical requirements
- Partner with sales during technical discovery and scoping
- Be accountable for customers going live successfully
- Engineering & Product Work
- Work day-to-day with core engineers
- Build customer importing tools used daily by finance teams and founders
- Work across the stack and touch real production systems
- Contribute directly to the codebase where appropriate
- Feed customer feedback back into product and technical direction
Compensation Structure
- Fixed base salary (stable, predictable)
- Implementation success fee paid per successful customer go-live
- Success Fee Is Triggered When Customer is live in production
- Implementation meets agreed success criteria
- Incentives are aligned with shipping, quality, and customer outcomes, not demos or quotas.
Working Hours & Environment
- Working Hours: Central Time (CT) business hours required
- Must be available during CT time to support customers
- Fully remote role required for real-time collaboration with customers, engineers, and founders
- Occasional off-hours work may be required for go-lives or escalations
- Remote does not mean asynchronous-only — live collaboration matters
What We're Looking For
- Technical Full-stack engineer, developer, or hacker
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and production systems
- Able to debug real customer problems and ship fixes
- Writes clean, maintainable code
