The role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will lead client-facing AI implementations from discovery through production deployment, acting as the bridge between business objectives and technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI implementations from solution design through launch and handover
• Working directly with client business, analytics, data, technology, and operational stakeholders to define requirements and success metrics
• Building and deploying production-ready solutions, integrations, automations, and workflows
• Designing and implementing integrations across APIs, data sources, enterprise systems, and workflow tools
• Running experiments and evaluating how AI solutions can be embedded within client technology environments
• Translating complex technical findings into clear business recommendations for executive and C-suite stakeholders
• Managing implementation risks, delivery timelines, and dependencies across multiple teams
• Driving user adoption, documentation, operational readiness, and long-term success
• Partnering closely with Product Managers to influence future product capabilities and roadmap decisions
• Operating effectively in fast-moving environments where priorities and requirements evolve

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience within consulting, solution delivery, implementation, analytics, data engineering, data science, or technical programme leadership
• Proven experience delivering complex software, AI, analytics, automation, or digital transformation projects from concept to production
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience translating ambiguous business problems into practical technical solutions
• Hands-on technical capability across data, analytics, integrations, APIs, or modern software environments
• Ability to communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and a track record of driving outcomes independently
• Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and maintaining delivery momentum
• Preferred backgrounds include: Management or technology consulting; AI, analytics, software implementation, or digital transformation environments; MarTech, AdTech, SaaS, or data-intensive technology businesses; Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, Technical Programme Management, or Implementation Consulting

Pay

$200,000 to $250,000 base + Equity

Hybrid working in New York preferred, with remote options available across EST and CST time zones
