Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Capability Center) - 5 Openings

Forward Deployed Engineer role focused on building AI solutions within a pod structure. The Solution Architect owns the design and the Engagement Manager owns the schedule; this position is dedicated to implementation and daily collaboration with business users.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features on AWS and Azure using Claude and other AI models.
• Work directly with business users on a daily basis to develop solutions collaboratively.
• Maintain high quality through comprehensive testing and evaluations for all shipped features.
• Follow design direction from the Solution Architect and identify gaps in the design.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience building software or AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with AWS or Azure.
• Comfortable working closely with business stakeholders as a strong builder.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare-related positions are onshore (U.S.); EDR and other roles may be based in India.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI agents.
• Exposure to Agentic DevOps tooling, including agentic coding tools and eval-driven pipelines.
• Front-end development skills.
• Experience in healthcare or higher education sectors.
• AWS AI Practitioner certification or Azure AI-900 / AI-102 certifications.
• Meets the FDE-ready floor (Embedding L3 with AI L3) at day 0.

Pay

The estimated base salary for this position is $120,000 - $145,000 USD. The range reflects Huron’s good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on skills, certifications, experience, market conditions, and required travel. This role is also eligible for Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, with a total estimated compensation range of $134,400 - $171,100 USD including potential incentives.
