Assembler - Electro-Mechanical - 1st shift Requirements Assembling AC and electronic modules, sub-assemblies, products, or systems Reading and interpreting work orders and following sample assemblies Pulling parts for the shop floor orders and assembling parts/units to work instructions Must be familiar with hand and power tools to mount assembled components and to connect component lead wires to printed circuit or routes Must know how to use hand tools Have to be able to lift up to 50lbs _____________________________________________________________________________________________ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include but are not limited to the following: When in the Ferrous yard area, required to sort, handle and identify incoming non-ferrous scrap and relocate material to the proper drop-off area in the warehouse. When in Non-Ferrous yard area, will sort, handle and identify non-ferrous scrap and relocate material to proper drop off area in warehouse. When in Warehouse area, sort, handle and identify incoming non-ferrous scrap material (copper, brass, aluminum). Uses torches, plasma cutters and various equipment including but not limited to balers, wire strippers, chop saws, and shears. May be required to operate bobcat or forklift. Maintains good housekeeping in the area of the lower yard and in other assigned work areas. This includes sweeping sidewalks, scale platforms, and other assigned work areas (weather permitting). Occasionally be required to perform the essential job duties and responsibilities of Warehousemen or Burner. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ **Forklift - Picker** Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift. Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock. Ensure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and loaded correctly. Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customers order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct. Changes equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessary. Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D. Maintain the facility and the facility's equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. Inspect all operated equipment daily. Complete daily inspection of equipment. Assist in physical inventories. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ **Warehouse - Laborer** Support Role for our Inbound team. We need 1 candidate to work on a 4-person team unloading, sorting and palletizing cartons of product weighing up to 33 lbs. from floor loaded sea containers.The role pays $18.25/hr and is scheduled M-F 6a-230p. This job does not require equipment operation but can be physically demanding. Our site also requires ASTM2413 compliant **steel/safety-toe shoes** when on the warehouse floor.
