Primary Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading product in an efficient, accurate, and safe manner
- Moving product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate area
- Maneuvering a forklift and/or pallet jack through limited space areas; verifying counts and products shipped/received
- Operating specific material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required
- Checking or counting products for accuracy and/or damage and infestation
- Operating radio frequency terminals to ensure accurate local inventories
- Picking and entering correct data to properly create advance shipment notifications for customers as required
- Will be required to manually case pick orders using a walkie rider on a frequent basis
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One (1) year related experience involved in performing work in a warehouse
- Maintain a working environment that is safe for all employees and comply with any facility safety standards
- Keep the work area clean and free of any safety hazards at all times
- Wear appropriate attire for warehouse setting as described in employee handbook
- Use a computer, including Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to either stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop
- Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands
Physical Requirements
- Essential functions of this job require the following minimal physical demands:
- Sit, talk or hear; frequently required to use hands to grip or feel;
- Occasionally required to use hands to grasp, turn, twist, and/or stoop
- Manual dexterity suitable for use of utilizing machinery and/or a computer
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permits the employee to work in a warehouse
- Ability to sit and stand up to 20-70% of the time comfortably, with or without reasonable accommodation
Working Conditions

- Must be comfortable working in a complex production machining and assembly environment
- The working area is primarily in a manufacturing environment located around machines and heavy equipment such as a forklift or pallet operator
- Operation of the machine requires working with, and coming into contact with, various materials and substances
- Willingness to wear finger cots, masks, and/or safety vest
- Working temperatures may vary from hot, cold, humid, wet or dry
- Working hours may be extended and weekends may be required in order to meet manufacturing needs
