Forklift Operator Warehouse

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Frankfort, Indiana. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
• Handling paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Qualifications

• Available to work on flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Passes additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, and a road test.

Pay

$19.00 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour additional pay.

Schedule

Monday - Tuesday: 4:30PM to 3:00AM
Friday - Saturday: 5:30AM to 4:00AM

Skills

• Comfortable driving sit-down forklifts both forward and backward.
• Experience with automated pallet jacks (walkie riders).
