Forklift Operator Warehouse

About the role

Ryder is seeking a Material Handler in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. This position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive career environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handling daily paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Punctuality and good attendance record
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

• Preferred: One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Preferred: Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred: Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Preferred: Ability to work within a diverse work environment

Pay

$23.00 per hour, with an additional $3.50 per hour for night shifts

Schedule

D Shift (Nights): Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday, 5:00pm - 5:30am
