Forklift Operator Warehouse

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Frankfort, Indiana. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive career environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• High degree of accuracy, even under pressure
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

• Punctuality and good attendance record
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Working using health and safety methods
• Flexible schedule availability on various shifts

Skills

• Comfortable with driving sit down forklifts

Pay

Weekly pay starting at $19.00 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.

Schedule

Monday - Tuesday: 4:30PM to 3:00AM
Friday - Saturday: 5:30AM to 4:00AM
