About the role

The Forklift Operator I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The position involves loading, unloading, stacking, and transporting products to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and other lifting equipment
  • Load, unload, and store products and materials
  • Stack and transport materials and products to designated areas
  • Scan products and print labels as needed
  • Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems
  • Follow product rotation procedures and complete cycle counts as required
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure the facility is inspection-ready
  • Communicate and report any incidents to supervisors
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience
  • Licensed forklift operator or ability to obtain a Forklift Operator license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Attention to detail
