Starting at $21.34 an hour plus $0.75 shift differential. Full-time, 3rd shift (10pm-6am).

Responsibilities

  • Move various sized units and products from sources to staging areas
  • Maintain accurate records of unit locations
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and general housekeeping duties
  • Assist general operations as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Must be capable of obtaining forklift certification and be very safety conscious
  • Two years of forklift operation preferred
  • Experience with scanner or barcode warehouse management inventory systems preferred
  • Ability to maintain and identify equipment maintenance needs
  • Multi-tasking, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, tape measure, and time management skills
  • Able to function in extreme temperatures
  • Available for weekend work schedules
  • Able to read and follow factory instructions
  • Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
  • Able to calculate figures such as percentages, measurements, volume, and rate
  • Apply high school math concepts
  • Apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or graphic instructions
  • Deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations

Skills

  • Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities for efficient operation
  • Understanding of product layouts and production specifications
  • Knowledge of product quality specifications and quality standards
  • Must maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, or hear
  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Occasionally required to sit
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
  • Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
