Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up reach forklifts safely and efficiently
- Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into elevated rack locations
- Retrieve palletized units from rack locations for outbound shipments
- Use RF scanners to accurately record inventory, weights, counts, and product conditions
- Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and lifting devices
- Complete daily forklift inspections and equipment checklists
- Monitor battery charge levels, maintain batteries, and ensure equipment is properly stored and charged
- Work with other warehouse machinery and material handling equipment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Stand-up Reach Forklift experience
- RF Scanner experience
- Warehouse experience in a high-volume distribution environment
Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from freezer environments as low as -20°F to dry storage environments up to 100°F while wearing company-provided PPE
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends as needed
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse noise levels
Skills
- Case Picking experience (highly desired)
- Clamp Forklift experience (highly desired)
- Barrel Grabber attachment experience (highly desired)
