Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew.
  • Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
  • Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training.
  • Communicates with property owners and customers regarding work details.
  • Maintains accurate records and reports on crew operations.
  • Controls crew costs and ensures efficient use of resources.
  • Furnishes reports to supervisors and handles incident investigations.
  • Ensures safety and maintains good public relations.
  • Performs DOT maintenance and inspection on company vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Age 18 or older.
  • Understanding of electrical drawings and symbols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adjust to field requirements.
  • Driver’s license and Class B CDL preferred.
  • State pesticide license preferred (will help obtain).

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Pre-Screen

  • Drug screen, background check, and MVR check upon offer.

License & Certifications

  • Driver’s License Required.
  • Class B CDL Preferred.
  • State Pesticide License Preferred (will help obtain).

Travel Requirements

  • Must have transportation to and from the show-up location.

Physical Requirements

  • RARE: crawling, climbing, gripping, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • OCCASIONAL: standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, body-twisting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., reaching, range-of-motion, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, climbing stairs, balancing.
  • FREQUENT: walking, sitting, climbing on/off truck, reading, lifting up to 10 lbs.
  • CONTINUOUS: speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, hearing-speech-range, depth-perception, color vision.
