Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew.
- Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
- Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training.
- Communicates with property owners about work details and damage claims.
- Maintains accurate records and reports on crew performance.
- Controls crew costs and manages resources effectively.
- Furnishes reports to supervisors and addresses emergency situations.
- Maintains equipment and performs DOT maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Understanding of electrical drawings and equipment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Organization and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to adjust to field requirements independently.
- Safety-conscious and capable of handling heavy objects.
- Valid CDL and no fear of heights.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- At least 3120 hours of working experience in line clearance industry.
Physical Requirements
- Rare: crawling, climbing, gripping, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- OCCASIONAL: standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, body-twisting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., reaching, range-of-motion, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, climbing stairs, balancing.
- FREQUENT: walking, sitting, climbing on/off truck, reading, lifting up to 10 lbs.
- CONTINUOUS: speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, hearing-speech-range, depth-perception, color vision.
