Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor the project crew, prioritizing and delegating responsibilities
• Communicate with tradespeople on the job site and track project schedules to ensure efficient, accurate, on‑time completion
• Serve as lead technical resource on assigned projects
• Report on job status and performance; control job costs
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, general contractors, and subcontractors
• Ensure use of PPE and safe behavior, including vehicle safety, by all employees
• Ensure compliance with installation policies and procedures, including project tracking, safety, time and attendance
• Oversee third‑party resources as needed
• Direct and oversee work of apprentices and journeymen assigned to specific projects

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade program/technical school (college degree a plus)
• 5+ years experience in commercial building construction or related industry/trade
• Knowledge of construction principles and efficient labor use
• Strong organizational and judgment skills for task assignment
• Ability to give clear instructions and guidance
• Maintain project labor hours within limits and request change orders as needed
• Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with safety policies
• Understanding of company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; track record of punctuality and dependability
• Proficiency with computer tools: email, Word, project planning software (Projectmates), etc.
• Effective time management, delegation, and follow‑through to ensure results

Pay

Competitive hourly rate of $40.00‑$60.00, plus a sign‑on bonus of up to $5,000.00.
