Foreman Electrical

About the role

Join the Grid & Digital Solutions department within the Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen, based in Lajanuri, Georgia, for the construction of a high-voltage substation. As Electrical Foreman, you will oversee electrical installation activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Check the readiness and safety compliance of each work area prior to commencing electrical installation activities.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor the progress of electrical systems installation and identify any deviations from plans, specifications, or schedules.
• Ensure that electrical works are carried out to the highest standards of quality and in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate with other trades and site management to prevent conflicts and delays.
• Assist in planning daily and weekly work schedules based on project timelines and available resources.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and report progress to the Site Manager.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience, preferably as an Electrical Foreman in the energy/construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
