About the Role
A well-established Tampa Bay law firm's Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights practice group is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to manage a busy commercial foreclosure caseload. This is a hands-on role supporting attorneys across all phases of creditors' rights and foreclosure proceedings throughout Florida state courts.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Correspond with clients and maintain strong client relationships
- Cook up hearings, deadlines, and case schedules
- Interface with state courts throughout Florida
- Prepare and file court documents
- Manage case files and maintain accurate case records
- Aid attorneys with all phases of commercial foreclosure proceedings
Qualifications
- Prior experience handling commercial foreclosure matters required
- Knowledge of Florida state court systems and filing requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation preferred or willingness to pursue certification

$75,000 - $90,000 per year
