Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive, loan-level desktop reviews of cases, and prioritize the work appropriately
- Communicate with the courts, clients and opposing counsel
- Manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients' timelines and expectations
- Ensure all internal systems are updated, to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
- Draft and record legal documents
- Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal bankruptcy, foreclosure and collections requirements (as applicable)
Requirements
- At least one year of Law Firm experience handling foreclosures
- Document preparation including but not limited to Notices of Sale and Deeds
- Experience operating in Loansphere/BKFS/ICE
- Creative in problem-solving and takes initiative when issues arise, with ability to use good judgment or obtain direction or clarification where needed
- Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written electronic correspondence
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities
- Knowledge of Mortgage Foreclosure Law
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred
- Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
- 1 year experience in handling foreclosures
