Job Summary
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis, and/or equipment design
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with universal test machines for products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with product and materials testing
- Experience with statistical data analysis
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience testing footwear or apparel in a lab setting
- Background in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD
What You Will Do
- Perform standard materials and mechanical tests
- Review and analyze data to ensure product quality
- Write detailed reports and communicate findings to teams
- Assist senior engineers on testing-related projects
- Train others in your area of expertise
- Suggest improvements to testing protocols and equipment for accuracy and efficiency
Work Environment
- Join a lab team of 15 members (5 dedicated to this project)
- Hands-off management style with focus on independence
- Collaborate with product creation teams to ensure high-quality footwear
