Football Assistant Coach (Volunteer)

About the role

The Football Assistant Coach at Kempsville Middle School will support the head coach in all aspects of football operations, including game planning, player development, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game preparation and strategy discussions
• Work closely with players to improve their skills and performance
• Manage team logistics and travel arrangements
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements

• Experience coaching middle school-aged athletes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pass a background check

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Previous experience as a high school or middle school assistant coach preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of middle school sports rules and regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
