About the role

This position includes basic food preparation, service, and/or sanitation tasks. Prepare food according to instructions. Follow proper food handling techniques. Assist in completing the Serving Line Worksheets. Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area. Set up service/preparation areas as assigned. Direct, help train, and assist student employees in food preparation and service. Clean and replenish the service/preparation areas, dining room, and dishwashing/pot-and pan areas during and after service. Complete required training. Help the department constantly improve and reach its vision.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications: Ability to read, write, and perform basic math. Ability to handle and lift heavy kitchen utensils and supplies (e.g. 40 pounds). Good physical health. Some knowledge of and experience in basic food preparation, service, and/or sanitation methods and a desire to provide high-quality customer service are strongly preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $15 - $16.32 hourly

Schedule

Shift 12:30 - 9 M-F but could include weekends
