About the role

The Food Service Worker I (FSW-I) performs tasks not involving cooking, such as washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, loading carts, general cleaning, and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes and prepares cold items
• Produces salads and serves meals
• Works as a cashier and passes trays
• Loads carts and cleans areas
• Handles receiving tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a service-related environment/industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel
• Able to work in close contact with various types of food
• Meets schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality)
• Reads, writes, and speaks English
