Food Service Technician, Full Time

About the role

The Food Service Worker I (FSW-I) performs tasks not involving cooking, such as washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, and general cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes and cleans kitchen areas
• Cold prep and salad production
• Serves food and drinks to patients and guests
• Handles cash transactions as a cashier
• Passes trays and loads carts
• Performs general cleaning duties
• Receives supplies and materials

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a service-related environment/industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel
• Ability to work in direct contact with various types of food
• Able to adhere to schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality)
• Fluency in English

Qualifications

Maintains positive relationships with patients and customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction with food services. Demonstrates courtesy, consideration, and cooperation in interactions with all staff and visitors.
