About the role
The Food Service Worker I (FSW-I) performs tasks not involving cooking, such as dishwashing, cold preparation, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, and general cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Washes dishes and prepares cold items
- Produces salads and serves meals
- Works as a cashier and loads carts
- Performs general cleaning duties
- Receives supplies and equipment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a service-related environment/industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel
- Able to maintain schedule requirements
- Read, write, and speak English
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in direct contact with various types of food
