Food Service Tech

About the role

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Food Service Tech to join our Food and Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will help provide excellent meal service while supporting food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and daily dining operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, has a heart for serving rehabilitation and long-term healthcare patients, and is eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas clean and organized
• Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and food service
• Help with dining room setup and cleanup
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and supplies
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Provide friendly and respectful service to patients, residents, visitors, and team members
• Support the Food and Nutrition Services team wherever needed

Pay

$14–$16 per hour, depending on experience
