Food Service Supervisor - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees and inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods; must be able to stand and be on feet for much of the shift.
• Perform other responsibilities as determined by operational needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience
