Responsibilities
- Supervise employees in preparing patient meals to ensure optimal quality, aesthetics, and nutrition.
- Ensure compliance with food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Manage employee performance and training.
- Oversee kitchen operations and inventory management.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in large-scale food preparation in a commercial or institutional kitchen.
Qualifications
The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Preferred skills include:
- Reading, understanding, and following oral and written instructions.
- Understanding acceptable food handling, service, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Performing moderately heavy physical work for extended periods.
- Working as part of a team.

Pay
The salary range is $35,596.00 - $62,294.00, with a recruitment range of $35,596.00 - $45,000.00. The hiring salary will be based on relevant qualifications, internal equity, and budgetary considerations.
Schedule
The normal working hours for this position are 3:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends.
