About This Position This position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% after one year of employment, provided all applicable criteria are met You will need to be located in the state of Texas for this position or relocate to the state of Texas for this role.** The General Manager plans, directs and coordinates the activities associated with running multiple facilities (at least 2 or more). This includes ensuring all team members are adequately trained and capable to perform job responsibilities in a safe and compliant manner, managing food service operations and ensuring they are in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as required local, state and federal laws and regulations, and ensuring all facilities maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity. Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities Supervise, train, and instruct team members in general food service practicesEnsures all team members are adequately trained and capable to perform job responsibilities in a safe and compliant mannerDirects team members to ensure job-related rules, policies, procedures, and security guidelines are enforcedMaintain product service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaintsManages food service operations and ensures they are in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as required local, state and federal laws and regulationsEnsures all facilities maintain a sanitary food service environment by following food service and Health Department codes and regulationsEnsures all facilities maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activityMaintain contract compliance and cost controlOther duties as determined by the needs of the business What You'll Need Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma/GED plus equivalent experience required. SERV Safe Certified. At least five (5) years of food service experience, preferably in a correctional setting. Previous multi-unit supervisory experience is preferred. Must have experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering, receiving and cost control. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
