Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and instruct team members in general food service practices
- Ensures all team members are adequately trained and capable to perform job responsibilities in a safe and compliant manner
- Directs team members to ensure job-related rules, policies, procedures, and security guidelines are enforced
- Maintain product service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints
- Manages food service operations and ensures they are in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as required local, state and federal laws and regulations
- Ensures all facilities maintain a sanitary food service environment by following food service and Health Department codes and regulations
- Ensures all facilities maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity
- Maintain contract compliance and cost control
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma/GED plus equivalent experience required.
- SERV Safe Certified.
- At least five (5) years of food service experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
- Previous multi-unit supervisory experience is preferred.
- Must have experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering, receiving and cost control.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
