Job Summary

This position is located at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca. Performs diversified food service duties to serve cafeteria and patient populations following standard practices and complying with regulatory requirements such as DHEC.

Accountabilities

• Prepares/Serves food to cafeteria patrons, serves and picks up meal trays, late trays and snacks to/from patients.
• Assembles trays according to patients' prescribed diet orders.
• Operates cash register in accurate and efficient manner.
• Displays basic foods and beverages, prepares for serving.
• Prepares boxed lunches and stocks nourishments on patient units.
• Affords assistance with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
• Promotes good human relations and assures courteous and proper service is provided to those served.
• Follows established safety, security and sanitation practices.
• Wareswashing and general cleaning/sanitation.

Supervisory/Management Responsibility

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
