Dietary Aide - Food Services - Days

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient trays in accordance with dietary restrictions and menu choices.
• Transport food trucks and store food supplies.
• Maintain sanitation of the kitchen area by washing/storing wares, emptying trash and sweeping/mopping.
• Handle food following Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines.
• Maintain work area in accordance with all sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients, visitors, co-workers and other VCUHS staff throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess reading and writing skills and comprehend and communicate in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of previous food services or customer service work experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Additional Position Requirements

• Work rotating weekends and holidays as assigned by supervisor.

• Lifting 20-50 lbs.
