Food Service Assistant Tier 3 (5 hours/day)

About the role

This position is available for the 2026 - 2027 school year at Pennichuck Middle School.

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling and cashiering experience desirable.
• Must be physically capable of performing duties, including the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to work with a variety of food service and cleaning related products.

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparation and serving of food.
• Requires ability to handle money and count back change.
• Assist with clean up in food service areas and equipment.
• Familiarity with sound safety and health practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator or Director of Food Service.

Benefits

Depending on experience and/or SNA Certification, the minimum starting salary is $16.40 per hour.
