Job Responsibilities
The Dining Server is responsible for ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests. Responsibilities include:
- Responding in a patient, courteous, and cooperative manner to residents, staff, and the public
- Reading and understanding written and verbal communication
- Ensuring the dining area is clean and stocked
- Maintaining safety and sanitation standards
- Using computer, mop, broom, and required cleaning equipment
- Lifting 25 lbs unassisted and standing for periods of time
- Understanding state and sanitation policies and procedures
Requirements and Skills
- Ability to respond in a patient, courteous, and cooperative manner
- Read and understand written and verbal communication
- Understand state and sanitation policies and procedures
- Ensure dining area is clean and stocked
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Be familiar with computer, mop, broom, and required cleaning equipment
- Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted and stand for periods of time
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Age 18 or older
- One year of related work experience and experience working with senior adults preferred
Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $19.33. Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
