Food Server

About the role

The casual dining attendant is responsible for ensuring a fast, friendly quality dining experience for guests. Duties include serving food and beverages, collecting payments, cleaning, and restocking assigned venues. The position requires maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, adhering to SOPs, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and farewell them respectfully.
• Work in a fast-paced, stressful environment with a calm and accurate demeanor.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, including cash and food handling requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the service area.
• Communicate effectively with guests to enhance guest relations and foster loyalty.
• Multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision, showing urgency and professionalism.
• Interact with guests and colleagues in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of relevant information.
• Use communication devices such as phones, radios, and computerized systems.
• Handle high-pressure situations and flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Customer service or food/beverage experience is preferred. Must be able to interpret instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Must be detail-oriented, detail-focused, and able to maintain confidentiality and security of information. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently and more than 50 lbs with assistance. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, and effective communication skills are essential. Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills in diverse settings and with various levels of authority.
