About the role

The Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor oversees the food service operation, ensuring appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served. This position requires previous supervisory experience and familiarity with the food and hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations
• Supervision of cooking and preparation of food items according to recipes and brand requirements
• Maintenance of accurate inventory according to departmental policies and procedures
• Delegation of tasks to employees as necessary
• Providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff members
• Aid in manager-led employee counselling sessions, timekeeping, and maintaining contact information
• Training and mentoring other food service workers
• Maintaining excellent customer service and a positive demeanor
• Maintaining communication with staff (email, phone calls, inter-office mail)
• Adhering to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role preferred
• Prior experience in the food and hospitality industry required
• Strong leadership, time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technology systems
