Food Retail Brand Location Supervisor - High Point Univ

About the role

The Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor oversees the food service operation, ensuring appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served. This position requires previous supervisory experience and familiarity with the food and hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations
• Supervision of cooking and preparation of food items according to recipes and brand requirements
• Maintenance of safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items
• Accurate inventory management according to departmental policies and procedures
• Delegation of tasks to employees as necessary
• Coaching and performance feedback to staff members
• Aid in manager-led employee counselling sessions, timekeeping, and updating contact information
• Training and mentoring of other food service workers
• Maintaining excellent customer service and a positive demeanor
• Adherence to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation
• Effective communication with staff via email, phone calls, inter-office mail, etc.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role preferred
• Prior experience in the food and hospitality industry required
• Strong leadership, time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively
• Basic computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technology systems
