Food Operations Manager 2

About the role

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. This position oversees catering business, retail, and resident dining on campus.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of day-to-day operations
• Deliver high quality food service
• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• Create and implement strategic plans
• Create a positive environment
• Ensure Sodexo standards are met

Requirements

• Work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience
• The ability to work collaboratively
• Culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
• Manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
• Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS), The Market Connection (TMC), and proficiency in computer skills and report management

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience: 2 Years
• Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
