Food & Nutrition Aide-Food Service Food Production-Mount Sinai West-Part Time (15 hours/week), 3:30pm to 8pm, Weekends and Holidays

About the role

The Registered Dietitian (RD) at Food Service Therapeutics at Mount Sinai West is a full-time position, working from 9am to 5pm, with weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, portions, transports, and serves food and beverages as assigned and follows standardized recipes, menus and production sheets as necessary.
• Sets up and serves special catering functions as assigned.
• Uses various equipment while performing assigned tasks. Operates equipment in a safe manner and cleans all equipment according to established guidelines.
• Maintains compliance with Policy and Procedures and HACCP and NYSDOH.
• Rotates stock in storage areas.
• Performs general cleaning of all areas in food service.

Qualifications

• Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience Requirements: Food service experience preferred.
