Food & Beverage Team Leader

About the role

The Food & Beverage Team Leader is a part-time, on-site role based at the Target store in Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of food preparation and presentation
• Maintenance of inventory and freshness
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and cleanliness guidelines
• Supporting and coaching team members
• Assigning daily tasks
• Resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Collaborating with store leadership to drive sales in food and beverage, support promotional activities, and create a welcoming environment for guests

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory skills, including coaching, scheduling, and supporting a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in food service operations, with knowledge of food safety, cleanliness standards, and back-of-house procedures
• Strong customer service and service standards focus, with the ability to create positive guest experiences and resolve issues effectively
• Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and accurate documentation of processes
• Previous retail, grocery, or hospitality experience is preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise as required, and to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic math, cash-handling, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with point-of-sale and inventory systems is a plus
