Job Summary

The Food & Beverage Supervisor assists with Breakfast, Restaurant, and Banquet operations to ensure excellent guest service, efficient staff management, and smooth service execution. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. This position reports to the Director of Outlets.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate Food & Beverage staff to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient operations
  • Train, motivate, and provide feedback to staff to maintain high service standards
  • Oversee daily breakfast and restaurant activities, including guest seating, order taking, and food delivery
  • Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and presentation meet hotel standards
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues promptly and professionally to ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff
  • Maintain accurate records of guest reservations, staff schedules, and inventory
  • Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
  • Maintain staff performance and assist with performance evaluations
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards in the restaurant
  • Manage cash handling and processing of guest payments accurately
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including breakfast, restaurant, and banquet setup and cleanup
  • Oversee the set-up of Banquet functions including checking of the physical layout of the room, providing the servers with the proper set-up information and updating function sheets in the banquet kitchen
  • Conduct pre-service Banquet meetings with staff and delegate duties to banquet servers and bartenders during set-up and break down of events
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or related field preferred; minimum of 3 years' experience in food service environment required
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, excellent leadership and team management skills, ability to handle guest concerns, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software, strong problem-solving skills, ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor under pressure, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
