Food & Beverage Supervisor

Overview

The Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees all food and beverage operations within the youth sports complex. This position ensures high-quality service, product consistency, and adherence to health and safety regulations in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service management, a passion for sports and youth programming, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employee performance during shifts
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and solve customer complaints or issues
• Train new staff and on the spot coaching with existing staff
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment
• Control inventory and handle cash transactions and nightly reports
• Communicate with management about all areas of concern and opportunities

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Required: 2+ years of experience in food service or hospitality, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Required: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Required: Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work standard hours as well as swing shift.
• Preferred: Experience in a youth- or sports-focused environment.
• Preferred: Basic proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Required: Adhere to Big League Dreams policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen or concession setting
• Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor environments, depending on event needs.
