Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor at Fishers Event Center is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring compliance with budget goals and health department regulations. This position requires supervisory experience in a retail food establishment and a valid Indiana Server Liquor License.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, receiving, and preparing food items
• Maintaining food costs and budget goals
• Ensuring all locations are fully stocked prior to every event
• Attending in-house event-related meetings and relaying immediate changes to other departments
• Capturing and coordinating with the Kitchen on the timing and production of food preparation
• Liaising with the Warehouse and Kitchen teams, as well as NPO groups, bartenders, third-party subcontractors, and concession employees
• Able to oversee production of retail food operations to be prepared for peak and slow periods
• Handling and responding to guest concerns
• Maintaining all concessions and bar equipment
• Adhering to cleaning and sanitation schedules
• Directly supervising all Concessions personnel and NPO staff

Requirements

• At least 1 years of supervisory experience in a retail food establishment
• Valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses
• Serve-safe certified

Qualifications

• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility
• Results-oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals
• Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skills
• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
• Computer skills to include Excel programs
• Must adhere to local Health Department codes
