About the role
We are seeking a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) to join our team at Wawa. This role is part of a dedicated team that strives to make life better every day through smiles, hoagies, and experiences. As a FBM, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing all food and beverage operations, ensuring they run smoothly and consistently.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of food and beverage programs, including fresh food, grab-and-go meals, beverages, catering, and more.
- Drive food service sales and achieve performance goals by focusing on quality and consistency.
- Monitor trends and collaborate with peers to develop action plans for optimizing results.
- Become the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Train Customer Service Associates to build their proficiency and motivate them to provide outstanding customer service.
- Support hiring, scheduling, training, and team development.
- Recognize and reward great performance, and assist in the growth of Associates.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting food service area that adheres to all health and safety standards.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and equipment upkeep to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
- Strong leadership experience, preferably in food service or retail environments.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, make decisions, and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in problem-solving to boost sales, streamline operations, and drive results.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is $22.70 - $30.60, commensurate with position, experience, and location. Monthly bonus incentives are also available.
Schedule
Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
