Food & Beverage Manager
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all front-of-house food and beverage operations.
- Manage the Club restaurant, bar, pool snack bar, pool bar, and beverage cart operations.
- Ensure all outlets operate in accordance with Troon and Hidden Valley Country Club service standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Deliver exceptional hospitality and personalized service to members and guests.
- Foster a culture centered on service excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
- Address member concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the Club during operating hours.
- Collaborate with Club leadership to enhance member programming and dining experiences.
- Lead execution of all Hidden Valley Country Club member events.
- Cook up and coordinate staffing, service plans, room setups, timelines, and operational logistics for Club events.
- Work closely with culinary and operational teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Participate in planning and development of new dining and social experiences that drive member engagement.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop front-of-house associates.
- Create and manage staff schedules based on business levels and labor budgets.
- Conduct regular performance coaching and associate evaluations.
- Foster a positive and productive team culture.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and monthly inventory processes.
- Monitor labor costs, beverage costs, and operating expenses.
- Aid in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyze operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
- Ensure proper inventory controls are maintained across all outlets.
- Support month-end reporting and financial review processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive Food & Beverage management experience.
- Experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high levels of hospitality and member satisfaction.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with inventory management and labor scheduling.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
