Food and Nutrition Manager (Long Term Care)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Food and Nutrition Manager to lead our dietary team in Marmora, Ontario. This is a full-time position dedicated to ensuring exceptional nutritional care and food service for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to ensure compliance with corporate dietary policies, procedures, and established routines, including scheduling and ongoing training
• Implement and maintain facility and government standards of quality
• Adhere to all regulations under the Long-Term Care Act 2007, Public Health, the Ministry of Labour, and other governing bodies
• Oversee quantity cooking and food purchasing, including safe receiving and storage of food in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Manage an established budget
• Provide nutritional care for residents, including RAI-MDS charting using computerized long-term care documentation programs
• Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Knowledge of quantity cooking and food purchasing
• Experience with nutritional care and RAI-MDS charting in a long-term care setting
• Strong supervisory and training skills
• Familiarity with budget management

Pay

$56,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
