About the role
Manage the Food and Nutrition Program for patients and residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting, supervising the preparation and service of planned menus, nourishments, and supplements. Provide nutrition education to residents, patients, and their families, and oversee Dietary Aides and Cooks.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation and service of planned menus, nourishments, and supplements
- Provide nutrition education to residents, patients, and their families
- Oversee and manage the center's Dietary Aides and Cooks
Requirements
- Certification as one of the following: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Dietetic Technician, or Registered Dietician
- One (1+) year food service experience in an institutional or health-related setting, focusing on planning, preparing, and servicing regular and therapeutic diets (preferred)
